"CHARMED": "PHOEBE HALLIWELL AND THE NEXUS THEORY"

Recently, I watched the ”CHARMED” Season One episode called (1.15) "Is There a Woogy in the House?". In this episode, Phoebe Halliwell’s childhood fear of a boogeyman in the basement called the ”Woogeyman” proves to be true and it ends up taking possession of her and a few others – including her sister Prue’s ex-boyfriend, Andy Trudeau. Following this experience with the Woogeyman, Phoebe came to a conclusion regarding her moral compass. ( Read more... )

"THE PROBLEMS OF A SAVIOR COMPLEX"

The Season Three finale of ABC's "ONCE UPON A TIME" ended on a curious note. The finale consisted of two episodes - (3.21) "Snow Drift" and (3.22) "There's No Place Like Home" - in which two of the series' protagonists, Emma Swan and Killian Jones aka Captain Hook, found themselves transported back in time and to the Enchanted Forest due to circumstances beyond their control. "CHARMED" RETROSPECTIVE (4.01-4.02) "Charmed Again"

I just watched the two-part Season 4 premiere, (4.01-4.02) "Charmed Again". I rather liked the first half, which culminated with Paige becoming a Charmed One and the sisters vanquishing Shax. COLE TURNER'S "HUMANITY"

When his character was first introduced in Season Three of "CHARMED", Cole Turner had been revealed in the episode, (3.08) "Sleuthing With the Enemy", as a human-daemon hybrid. In order to explain his love for the witch Phoebe Halliwell, the writers attributed his evil nature to his demonic side and his ability for love and compassion to his human side. After twelve years, I have come to the conclusion that this explanation for Cole's complex personality seems like a load of bull. ( Read more... )
