This year marked the release of three movies about or featuring the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. He was born on Sinking Spring Farm, in southeast Hardin County, Kentucky (now part of LaRue County) on February 12, 1809; making him the first president born outside the original thirteen colonies. "ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER" (2012) Review

If someone had told me about two to three years ago about a fictional story featuring a historical leader and his encounters with the supernatural . . . I would have laughed in that person's face. Hell, I would that about a year ago. Then two years ago, Seth Grahame-Smith wrote a novel about Abraham Lincoln battling vampires. And you know what? I did not laugh.
