When New Line Cinema and Warner Brothers first released the news that Peter Jackson would adapt J.R.R. Tolkien's 1937 novel, "The Hobbit" into three films, I had not been pleased. I thought the novel could have easily been adapted into two films or even a single film. "DISTRICT 9" (2009) Review

I had been looking forward to "DISTRICT 9" for nearly two months before it finally hit the American movie theaters in the late summer of 2009. When I had first heard that Peter Jackson had produced a film that was directed and co-written by Neil Blomkamp about aliens living on Earth, I wondered if I would finally see a movie about aliens being oppressed or victimized by humans. "HOT FUZZ" (2007) Review

I have never never seen "SHAUN OF THE DEAD". Nor have I ever seen "SPACED", the TV series that first made British comics Simon Pegg and Nick Frost well known. And if I must be honest, I never really had any intention of seeing "HOT FUZZ" when it first hit the theaters in 2007. Until I saw the trailers for the movie on television. "KING KONG" (2005) Review

Several years ago, producer-director Peter Jackson had stated in an interview that one of movies that had inspired him to become a filmmaker was Merian C. Cooper's 1933 hit adventure film, "KING KONG". Sixteen to eighteen years after his first directorial effort, Jackson was finally able to pay tribute to his inspiration with a remake of the 1933 film.
